State Department calls talks with Taliban "frank"

"The discussions were frank and professional," reads a statement on the State Department's website.

It is noted that the US delegation has confirmed that the Taliban will be judged by their deeds, not their words.

Earlier it became known that representatives of the Taliban agreed with the United States on the supply of humanitarian aid to the Afghans.
