In the suburbs of Linfen City, Shanxi Province, a landslide has occurred, killing four people and causing some deaths and injuries.

In addition, the embankment broke in a tributary of the Yellow River that flows through Shanxi Province, and images from the site show that it is flooded over a wide area.



The Chinese government has dispatched a relief team to the site to carry out rescue and restoration work.
