Police officers were reported after Pride intervention - investigation is closed

It was during this summer's Karlskrona Pride that an incident occurred during a pride party.

During the party in question, a man was taken into custody and three police officers were subsequently reported for harassment and assault, which is said to have taken place in connection with the intervention.

But now the investigation against the police has been closed, Sydöstran reports.

- There is nothing that emerges that makes this an erroneous act or negligence in the criminal law sense, says Bengt Åsbäck, prosecutor at the Special Prosecutor's Office who has led the investigation, to the newspaper.

After the event, Karlskrona Pride canceled its boat parade, the main event that would have been the end of this year's pride festival.
