Matvienko invited Putin to visit the Eurasian Women's Forum

“We have an International Women's Forum next week, we are looking forward to seeing you,” Matvienko said during a meeting of the Russian leader with permanent members of the Russian Security Council.

Putin, in turn, promised that he would try to attend the event.

Earlier, the Federation Council spoke about the preparations for the III Eurasian Women's Forum.

It will take place on October 13-15 in St. Petersburg.
