Armies from both countries held a meeting on the 10th over an area where the border between China and India had not been established, but the meeting ended in a farewell with conflicting claims.

The two countries continue to talk to calm the situation, but there is no clear path to alleviate tensions.

China and India have set an "Line of Actual Control" as a provisional border to prevent large-scale military conflicts, but conflicts have occurred intermittently in the surrounding area, and in June last year the Ladakh region in northern India The clashes in the disputed zone caused casualties on both sides.

After that, in February, both sides withdrew together, and discussions continued to calm the situation.

Under these circumstances, a commander-level meeting was held on the 10th, but according to the announcements of both parties after the meeting, the meeting ended in a farewell.

According to the Chinese side, "China has shown good faith, but the Indian side has insisted on unreasonable and unrealistic demands, and the talks have been difficult."

On the other hand, the Indian side points out that "the situation around the Line of Actual Control is a unilateral attempt by the Chinese side to change the current situation and is a violation of the agreement."

Several Indian media have reported that there has been a recent glare between the Chinese and Indian troops in northeastern India, where borders have not been set, but the Chinese side said, "I was doing regular patrols and the Indian side. It seems that these conflicts are the background.

At a meeting between the two foreign ministers in the middle of last month, they acknowledged that they were making progress toward resolving the issue, but they did not see a way to ease tensions between the two countries.

China's Ministry of External Affairs "India's claim is not factual"

Zhao Lijian, a spokesman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry, criticized the meeting by the military of both countries on the 10th, saying that "the Indian side's allegations are completely unfactual."

After that, he said, "I want the Indian side to not misunderstand the situation and cherish the current situation in both countries," and called on the Indian side to alleviate the situation.
