The price of December futures for Brent crude oil on the London ICE Futures exchange rose by 2.03% and reached $ 84.06 per barrel, according to the data of the trading floor at 11:29 Moscow time.

The price reached its maximum value in three years. 

The cost of futures for WTI crude oil for November in electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange reached $ 80.94 per barrel by this time, which is $ 1.59 (2%) higher than the final value of the previous session.

Quotes are at their highest value in about the last seven years.

It is noted that the price of Brent has shown an increase over the past five weeks.

Earlier it was reported that the cost of a futures contract for WTI crude oil for delivery in December for the first time since November 2014 exceeded $ 80 per barrel.
