"Give a harsh legal assessment": the Investigative Committee opened cases against the head of the school and the leadership of the private security company after the murder in Makhachkala

The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case under Part 1 of Art.

105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Murder") against a 15-year-old schoolboy in Dagestan.

According to the press service of the department, at about 11:00 on Monday, October 11, in the courtyard of Makhachkala school No. 51, a fight broke out between two students of the 9th grade, during which one of the teenagers stabbed the other with a knife.

The wounded schoolboy died in the hospital.

In addition, two more cases were initiated: under Art.

293 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Negligence") in relation to the school director and his deputy for educational work and under Art.

238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Provision of services that do not meet security requirements") in relation to the management of a private security company who worked at the school.

Investigative Committee Chairman Alexander Bastrykin put the investigation under control in the central office of the department.

He instructed the leadership of the Republican Investigation Department "to give a harsh legal assessment of the actions of officials from among the school leadership responsible for ensuring security in the building, as well as to quickly establish the causes and conditions of the incident."

According to TASS, shortly after the incident, the director and deputy director of school No. 51 were fired.

As a source of the agency in the Ministry of Education and Science of Dagestan clarified, the head of the educational institution felt unwell, after which an ambulance was called for him.

Later it became known about his hospitalization with a heart attack.

The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Dagestan published footage of the interrogation of a schoolchild who mortally wounded a classmate.

As the detainee said, he bought the knife about a year ago: “Just to lie at home.

Everybody has it and I will have it. "

According to the teenager, one day he decided to put the weapon in his pocket, where he forgot it.

“During a fight, in a state of passion, I pulled him out and hit him.

I didn't want to kill him, ”the attacker explained, adding that after the incident he went to the director.

The Commissioner for Children's Rights in the Republic of Dagestan Marina Yezhova told TASS that the detainee had problems with his studies and behavior.

According to the ombudsman, the attacker had previously changed one school, then was homeschooled for some time, and recently he was transferred to the school where the emergency occurred.

At the same time, Yezhova noted that the teenager's family is not dysfunctional.

“The family is complete, there is no pronounced social or material distress, this is the only child in the family,” she said.

The Children's Ombudsman added that a security agreement was in force at the school where the tragedy occurred and a metal detector was installed.

According to Yezhova, the guard is on the spot, but the metal detector "did not work for some reason."

Later it became known that near school # 51 the teenagers attacked the operator of the local TV channel RGVK "Dagestan".

What exactly caused the conflict is not specified.

It follows from the report that the operator Gadzhi Magomedov was taken to the hospital with numerous hematomas.

Against the background of an emergency in the Makhachkala school, the city authorities intend to strengthen educational work, said the head of the education department Vadim Dibiyaev.

We add that in September, a conflict occurred between teenagers on the territory of a school in Yuzhny Chertanovo, during which one of the schoolchildren wounded another with a knife.

According to the school director, the victim was taken to the hospital, his life was not in danger.
