October 10, 2021 Last night, a 19-year-old young man, Luigi Giuseppe Fiorillo, was killed by two hitmen arriving on a scooter, found dead in via dell'Arco, in the Secondigliano district.

Fiorillo's body was found outside a recreational club on Via dell'Arco. The police, who received a report around midnight, began investigations to clarify precisely the dynamics of what happened and the motive.

The two hitmen, riding the scooter, would have arrived in front of the club and fired on the young man who was in the company of some people. At least a dozen 7.65 caliber pistol shots fired against him, six that would have reached him and fatally wounded him.

The body was taken to the Institute of Forensic Medicine of the Second Polyclinic of Naples where, through the autopsy, further elements useful for the investigation will be collected. According to reports from the police, Fiorillo had some precedent for drugs. It is not affiliated with any clan. The area where the ambush took place is still controlled by the Di Lauro clan. No trail is excluded, not even that of a war for drug control on the territory.

The task of the investigators is to reconstruct the last moments of Fiorillo's life: it seems that he was in the company of some people who would have managed to get away in time. There is talk of two hitmen who arrived on the spot aboard a scooter and went into action for an ambush designed to kill the young boy because the number of shots fired suggests that the mission was to kill.

An anonymous phone call to the Police Operations Center reported what happened. The cars of the General Prevention Office and the men of the Flying Squad arrived on the spot and started the investigations as well as the rescue that nothing could do to save the young man's life.

This is the second victim of an ambush in a few days in Naples.

In the night between Wednesday and Thursday a 23-year-old was killed even if in circumstances that are still obscure and different from those of Fiorillo.

As young as Fiorillo, Carmine D'Onofrio was killed in the Ponticelli neighborhood.

He was 23.

He was cleansed and earned a living with clean even if precarious jobs: among the hypotheses at the basis of his murder that of a transversal revenge since he was the illegitimate son of Giuseppe De Luca Bossa, brother of the boss Antonio, and at war with the opposite clan of the De Micco.

Secondigliano, where last night's murder took place, is a neighborhood in turmoil for the shocks in the criminal world as well as Ponticelli where an anti-Camorra demonstration was organized for next November 11th.
