At the Meazza stadium in Milan, Deschamps' national team beat Luis Enrique's Spain 2-1 in the final.
The goals: Oyarzabal for the Red Furies in the 64th minute, then the repeat in the 66th minute with Benzema and Mbappé's decisive goal in the 80th minute.
France thus succeeds Portugal, winner of the first edition of the tournament.
Previously, Italy had won third place, beating Belgium 2-1 in the Turin "final".
