Lyon-Villeurbanne corrected Dijon 73-49 and takes the lead in the Elite basketball championship, while Monaco replaced by beating Le Mans 81-70 on Sunday, for the third day.

For the revenge of the Elite final of last season won in June by Lyon-Villeurbanne (87-74), the French champions left no chance in Dijon, standing out from the start by winning the first quarter 19-11.

Asvel then unfolded, and continues their perfect start to the season with a third success in as many Elite games, after dominating Gravelines-Dunkerque and Le Portel during the first two days.

All lights are green for Tony Parker's club, which also won its first two Euroleague matches, against Zalgiris Kaunas (88-76) and Alba Berlin on Friday (71-67).

Monaco for its part returned to the front after the heavy defeat against Boulogne-Levallois (108-81) on the second day.

The Roca Team had to fight to get rid of catchy Manceaux, who had started their season well with two inaugural successes, and had maintained themselves in the match by coming back up to the Monegasques at half-time (41-41).

Danilo Andjusic's teammates (20 points) made the difference in the third quarter, won 24-16, and put the Rocher club back in 7th place.
