Democratic presidential primary, candidate Lee Nak-yeon avoided an immediate answer to a question about his position on the outcome of the primary.

After that, Lee Nak-yeon's side had an emergency meeting with all of its members and made an official statement two hours later.

He said that he plans to formally file an objection to the handling of invalid votes in the presidential election.

The camp claimed that it had repeatedly argued that the handling of invalid votes in the event of a mid-term resignation of a presidential candidate on several occasions was directly contrary to the main purpose of the introduction of a runoff ballot.

Earlier, the Democratic National Election Commission excluded from the total number of valid votes the votes of candidates who resigned midway, including candidate Chung Sye-kyun.

As a result, Gyeonggi Governor Lee Jae-myung's cumulative vote rate increased, and Candidate Nak-yeon Lee claimed that the invalidation vote was consequently beneficial to Candidate Jae-myung Lee.

Some supporters of Lee Nak-yeon's side protested strongly last night (10th) by protesting until late at night in protest against the handling of invalid votes by the Democratic Party of Korea.

Regarding the official opposition from Candidate Nak-yeon Lee over the invalid vote, there are speculations that it may have actually entered the process of appealing the election.
