The number of defendants in the case of alcohol poisoning in the Orenburg region has increased to nine

This is reported by the official representative of the Investigative Committee of Russia Svetlana Petrenko

“To date, investigators, in cooperation with operational police officers, have identified and detained nine persons, in respect of four of whom a preventive measure in the form of detention has already been chosen,” RIA Novosti quotes her.

Earlier it was reported that the death toll from poisoning with surrogate alcohol in the Orenburg region increased to 29, in total 54 residents of the region were affected.

The police continue to investigate the seized surrogate alcohol.
