A thief died in Egypt after being electrocuted while he was stealing, and the Egyptian police intensified their investigations to reveal the identity of the thief's body, which was found decomposing inside an electricity kiosk in El-Obour area in Cairo. The body was transferred to the Zeinhom Morgue, at the disposal of the Public Prosecution.

According to the newspaper, "Al-Masry Al-Youm", the preliminary investigations of the security services stated that the deceased entered the electricity booth to steal it, and he was electrocuted and killed on the spot.

The security services took the fingerprints of the corpse to match them with the fingerprints kept with the Ministry of Interior, to identify the identity of the deceased. A report was issued on the incident. The Egyptian Public Prosecution took over the investigations. The Public Prosecution demanded the security services to speed up their investigations to determine the identity of the owner of the body, who was not carrying any documents indicating his identity.
