The trip to Expo 2020 Dubai is not without funny experiences, the most prominent of which is the experience of options in the Future Innovation Lab in the Sustainability Pavilion (Terra), which provides visitors with the opportunity to learn about important information about the planet and the environmental risks it is exposed to, in an interactive way that allows The visitor has to participate in determining the fate of his planet.

The experience, which is available in the form of a game consisting of two green and blue arms, puts the visitor in front of one of two choices, siding with one of them by moving the arm that determines his answer.

The final scoreboard showed funny choices, including that 32% of the Expo visitors who participated in the experiment preferred to escape to Mars, compared to 68% who chose to save the planet.

While 62% of visitors chose to give up their mobile phones in exchange for saving a rainforest that they had never seen in their lives, 38% chose to keep a mobile phone over saving the forest.

Among the strangest answers that emerged from the experience, 58% of Expo visitors chose to travel around the world for 10 years in which they did not see their home, compared to 42% who chose not to leave their countries at all.

The percentage was equal by 50% among visitors who chose to always have clean water, compared to the same percentage for visitors who chose to have clean air.

While 69% of the visitors chose the option of receiving a low wage for a work of importance from their point of view, compared to 31% who chose an unimportant work that contradicts their principles and ideas in exchange for a decent wage.

Going forward, the Future Lab provides another funny experiment, which is the “sinking house” and “burning house”, during which the visitor is asked to choose only three things from his belongings to save them from drowning or fire, and the results were sometimes more funny, so British visitor Gabriella Gilkes chose to rescue Her snorkeling gear, engagement ring, and passport.

Meanwhile, American designer Melanie Pfister chose a painting drawn by her father-in-law, her wallet, and her laptop.
