“The place of Poland is and will be in the European family of peoples,” Morawiecki wrote on Facebook.

The prime minister described the accession of Poland and Central European countries to the European Union as one of the most important events in recent decades.

Earlier, the Secretary of State at the French Foreign Ministry, Clement Bon, said that the decision of the Constitutional Court of Poland, confirming the superiority of the country's Constitution over the laws of the European Union, is "an attack against the EU."

In connection with this decision, the French Foreign Minister added that there is a risk of Poland's withdrawal from the European Union.

On October 7, the Constitutional Court of the Republic adopted a decision on the supremacy of the Polish Constitution over EU law.
