- This is fun.

It's animal, nature, the tranquility and excitement of shooting.

You get so much adrenaline, says Lise-Lott Carlsson from Jönköping.

She is one of the new hunters who are part of the premiere hunting team in Hok.

When SVT Nyheter Jönköping is visiting, the group practices shooting in various forms, including simulator shooting.

- You learn an incredible amount.

It's fun, says Chamilla Wolmarsson from Habo, who already twenty years ago was considering taking a hunting degree but only last year made a difference.

"You get so much adrenaline"

So far this year, 1,217 women in Sweden have graduated as hunters, according to figures from the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency.

This is an increase of 45 percent in five years.

The number of male graduate hunters was 4,566 and this is a small decrease compared to 2016.

Stellan Eriksson, project manager for the hunters' first year of training, says that in addition to hunting, they also learn to take care of the hunting towers, find in the forest and know the basics for being able to sit on a pass in the forest.
