In Iraq, on Friday morning, the voting process for members of the security and military institutions from the Ministries of Defense and Interior began in the early legislative elections scheduled for tomorrow, Sunday.

Members of the anti-terrorist forces, members of the Kurdish Peshmerga forces and members of the Interior Ministry in the Kurdistan region of Iraq, in addition to the displaced and prison inmates, participate in these voting processes.

The director of Al-Jazeera office in Erbil, Ahmed Al-Zawiti, spoke in front of one of the polling stations for the displaced who were covered by the special vote, and said that the turnout was still very low, at a time when large turnout was recorded in the polling stations of the security forces and the Peshmerga.

Al-Khafaji explained, in a statement to Al-Jazeera, that the votes obtained by any candidate or party that intimidate voters with weapons or threats will be withheld.

The number of polling stations for the voting process of members of the security forces is 595, with 2584 polling stations.

The number of displaced voters is 120,126, and the number of polling stations for the displaced is 86, with 309 polling stations.
