When the villa with the associated 18.1 hectares of natural land was shown on Tuesday, the row of parked cars meandered long in the ditch edge along the individual road to the house.

Over a hundred people had signed up for the show.

Several have also tipped SVT Nyheter Västerbotten about house sales after we reported on increasing reports of cover prices.

- We became interested because of the location and that it was a nice price.

But when we came to the show, there were an enormous number of people there, says one of the speculators at Tavelsjövillan who SVT spoke to.

The bids flowed in

Interest in the house remained high when bidding started on Wednesday.

The bids flowed in and on Thursday morning the lead was SEK 3,810,000.

- I'm glad that the seller gets a good price, but you wonder if the basic price is set to attract many buyers.

You want to be able to trust that the broker sets a price that is fairly valued, says the person that SVT spoke to, who himself refrained from bidding.

Ulf Stenberg, who is the broker responsible for the sale, is himself surprised by the great interest.

- It is a small village and simple standard of the property.

That there would be such an interest was not on the map, he says about how he decided the pricing.

No cap price

Ulf Stenberg emphasizes that he never sets cap prices, without the desire for properties outside the urban area making certain properties difficult to value.

- My assessment was that there would be a small increase, but not so much.

It does not feel really good, he says.
