Aegirbio has been one of the real stock market rockets of the year.

Time and time again, news has been presented about big deals - especially regarding extensive sales of covid tests to Asia.

In total, these have been orders worth more than SEK 800 million.

But the multi-million agreements with the Asian players have not been signed by Aegirbio but by a newly started Gävle company, Nowmed.

This company, in turn, hired a newly started freight company this spring to handle transports around the world.

SVT's review shows that the transport company has had several board members from one of the companies that the Swedish Tax Agency has identified as participating in extensive VAT fraud in the mobile loophole.

The CEO is strong

Both Aegirbio and Nowmed state that the company was taken over by completely different people before signing the agreement on the collaboration this spring.

But documents show that the persons did not announce their resignation from the board to the Swedish Companies Registration Office until August.

The review also shows that Nowmed's CEO has recently joined as owner and board member of another newly started logistics company, which was also started by the same people behind the company who were pointed out in the mobile loop.

Nowmed's CEO tells SVT that he does not know that he has taken over the company from them, and must check the information.

Aegirbio's CEO Martin Linde says he did not know about this.

- I react with dismay, he says, and emphasizes that these are deals made by partners and not by Aegirbio themselves.

He says that he was asked about the transport company's representative by a journalist this summer, but that he then checked the information and received assurances that they were no longer with the transport company.

One of the people involved himself tells SVT that they left the transport company in April but forgot to report it to the Swedish Companies Registration Office.

Bid on companies

There is also a third connection between Aegirbio's partners and the mobile complex.

For a few weeks now, most of what is written about Aegirbio has revolved around a possible big deal, where Aergibio has placed a bid for the Linköping - based medech company Dynamic Code.

The deal has been made possible, among other things, through a directed new issue.

SVT's review shows that one of the companies in the new share issue is also connected to the mobile complex.

One of the company's board members has had a company that in a decision from the Swedish Tax Agency was pointed out as participating in the suspected frauds.

This also states Martin Linde comes as a surprise to him.

He states that Aegirbio is now initiating its own investigation of the events.
