The police balance of the macro-bottle last weekend in the Parque del Oeste and the surroundings is shocking.

That day, 63 robberies with violence and intimidation, five assaults, two cases of sexual abuse and damage to 25 cars and establishments such as bars and shops were reported that day at the National Police station.

In addition,

a BiciMad station was destroyed,

causing an economic loss of 13,000 euros to the Madrid City Council.

The agents of the Moncloa police station assure that they are perplexed by the wave of violence of that chaotic morning that

became one of the days with the most criminal acts reported in the district,

much higher than other mass events such as the Gay Pride party.

Most of these robberies and thefts were committed by a gang of minors, mostly of Maghreb origin, who usually

carry axes, machetes, knives and other prohibited weapons.

A group that has shaken the festivities of municipalities such as Villaviciosa de Odón, where on the last weekend of September the agents detained seven of them, five minors, and seized numerous knives from them.

One of the knives seized from the bottle band in Villaviciosa de Odón.

The 63 complaints of robbery suffered by adolescents

will probably grow

as many of the victims have been able to report in other units of the Civil Guard and it will take several days to reach the offices of the Moncloa police station.

The agents of the National Police at the moment have not arrested any of those involved, although they could already have identified several of the authors of the robberies as they are minors of Maghreb origin who repeat offenders in this type of misdemeanor in large concentrations. The police indicate that these young people come from the Sierra de Madrid, Carabanchel, Latina, Usera, Villaverde and Vallecas.

Another line of investigation is the monitoring of stolen mobile phones of which the agents already have their location in various parts of the Community of Madrid. Agents from the Madrid Information Brigade have joined the police station investigations as it is suspected that behind some of the violent robberies may also be

members of the Latin band Trinitarios

. It is also investigated if any of the participants are young people who have recently passed through centers for unaccompanied minors, commonly known as menas.

According to police data, most of the robberies are the work of an organized gang of about 20 people who were divided into subgroups of three to five individuals.

They always usually act on the periphery of the bottle, never in the thick of it, looking for kids who go alone, young people who come to urinate or couples who seek a little privacy at night.

Hundreds of young people in the bottle of the Parque del Oeste at dawn last Sunday.

The report notes that several of the victims who revolted were attacked and beaten.

Some of them even received a bottle hit on the head.

Others were also attacked with belt buckles or sticks.

In at least five cases the mangantes used machetes and knives.

In the two cases of sexual abuse, the attackers hugged young women who they touched in their most intimate parts.

One of the girls had her mobile phone stolen, several jewels and 20 euros from her pocket.

Some of the cases are chilling.

One girl was

surrounded by six young people with a Maghreb accent and they hit her several times in the face

until she left her on the ground to snatch her purse and a mobile phone.

The girl was treated by several Municipal Police officers who found her bleeding on the asphalt.

Another 16-year-old boy, a resident of Las Rozas, had to be assisted by the Samur after receiving a bottle when he refused to give his mobile phone to the robbers.

More cruel was the robbery suffered by another minor from Argüelles.

While he was looking at his mobile phone, he

received a bottle hit to the head that left him unconscious

for several minutes.

When he woke up they had robbed him.

One more proof of the virulence of that night is the tireless work that the Emergencies of the Clinical Hospital and the Jiménez Díaz Foundation had.

A spokesman for the San Carlos Clinical Hospital pointed out yesterday that the emergency room did not collapse, although there was a time of a lot of work due to the attacks and alcohol poisoning.

In the Jiménez Díaz,

more than a hundred assists

were recorded

that night

and a large percentage was as a result of the macro-bottle in the Parque del Oeste that ended with police charges, barricades and riots.

The same police sources indicated that the Municipal Police recorded images with drones that are being analyzed by investigators to try to find out the movements of the group that carried out the violent robberies among the thousands of young people who

drank and danced in the area, the majority without masks. and without respecting social distance.

Police investigations are also aimed at trying to find out if

menas

of the center of the House

may be behind some of the burglaries, as has happened months ago in the park of the Temple of Debod, Princess and Principe Pio.
