Discussions have also taken place in elderly care, where we have worked with the language issue for quite some time together with the trade unions, among other things by developing support for language development in the workplace.
So there is a lot of material that you can use, says Caroline Olsson.
More municipalities language tests
Lindesberg municipality is not alone in using language tests or introducing language requirements.
- We do not have a comprehensive picture of how common it is, but we know that it occurs in different parts of the country and that it is a current issue among several municipalities, she says.
