The word Argentina appears over 57,000 times in the Pandora Papers.

Among the tens of thousands of owners of offshore companies identified in these secret documents, 2,521 are Argentines.

This is more than for any other country except Russia and UK.

La Nación

,

Infobae

and

ElDiarioAR

, the three Argentine media associated with the ICIJ investigation, have notably found traces of offshore accounts linked to football players, such as Ángel Di María, and Javier Mascherano, but also to relatives former heads of state Mauricio Macri and Cristina Kirchner.

We learn, for example, that the special political adviser and Mauricio Macri's brother have both opened accounts in tax havens.

The latter had also already been pinned by the Panama Papers in 2016.
