MEP Yannick Jadot won the environmentalist primary by a short head against the “ecofeminist” Sandrine Rousseau.
He will represent Europe Écologie-Les Verts at the next presidential election.

Yannick Jadot will represent environmentalists in the presidential election.
The MEP won the primary on Tuesday against Sandrine Rousseau in the second round of this online ballot, Agence France-Presse learned from the entourage of the candidates.
The MEP obtained 51.03% of the votes cast among the 122,670 voters called to vote on the internet platform from Saturday to Tuesday.
He had already come first in the first round on September 19 with 27.7%, ahead of the “ecofeminist” Sandrine Rousseau with 25.14% of the vote.
