28 September 2021 Wall Street starts down.

The Dow Jones fell by 0.23% and the Nasdaq by 1.33%.

The rise in Treasury yields weakens markets and in particular technology stocks.

Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen said Congress has just under three weeks to tackle the looming debt ceiling and avoid an economic calamity and almost certain default.



In Europe indexes down, Milan London Frankfurt -1.10% Paris -1.5%, Milan -0.92%, above the London parity.

The rise in the price of oil continues, with Brent rising above $ 80 for the first time since 2018.
