September 28, 2021 "It is difficult for the taxman to be there" at the meeting of the control room called today at Palazzo Chigi at 5.30 pm to discuss the Update Note to the Economic and Financial Document (Nadef).

A government source says this, but the fiscal delegation, according to another source, "today we could talk about it even if it will not be on the agenda of the Council of Ministers tomorrow". Another executive source assures: "it has not yet been decided", but "I believe that in the end it will be discussed after the elections".

The theme, and the sources are in agreement on this, is destined to materialize in a provision only after the administrative procedures. But the matter, a hot topic for the majority parties, is linked to the numbers of the update note and it is difficult that by illustrating the text to the heads of delegation, one does not talk about it at all.

With the Prime Minister Mario Draghi and the Economy Minister Daniele Franco, the delegation heads of the majority forces should be there, while for the League Minister Erika Stefani will replace Giancarlo Giorgetti engaged in the electoral campaign.

"The Prime Minister, Mario Draghi, will chair the control room at Palazzo Chigi today at 5.30 pm to discuss the Update to the Def", reads a note from Palazzo Chigi, which adds the list of participants to the comparison : the Minister of Economy Daniele Franco, the Minister for Disability Erika Stefani (Lega), the Minister of Agricultural Policies Stefano Patuanelli (M5S), the Minister of Health Roberto Speranza (Article 1), the Minister of Culture Dario Franceschini (Pd ), the Minister of Equal Opportunities and Family Policies Elena Bonetti (Iv), the Minister for Regional Affairs Mariastella Gelmini (Fi) and Undersecretary Garofoli.

The Council of Ministers is convened tomorrow at 9.30.

The convocation is still out of the agenda, but the update note to the Def is awaited on the meeting table, today at the center of a control room with Prime Minister Mario Draghi.

Tomorrow after the CDM, the premier and the Minister of Economy, Daniele Franco, are expected to hold a press conference.

Today on the table in the control room there is the update note to the Economic and Financial Document and not the fiscal delegation.

The go-ahead for Nadef will take place tomorrow in the CDM, while the vote on the resolutions is scheduled for next Wednesday in the Chambers.
