Five percent to save

Blekinge is one of Sweden's counties where carbon dioxide emissions have risen, according to a survey conducted by Sweden's Nature and Newsworthy.

In 2018, foreign shipping accounted for 16.1 percent of Blekinge's carbon dioxide emissions.

It is now hoped that the artificial tool will be able to reduce fuel consumption by up to five percent.
