“We note with concern the growing tension in Kosovo, provoked by the irresponsible actions of the Kosovo Albanian authorities,” the statement on the website of the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

Zakharova noted that since September 20, Pristina "actually prevents the movement of transport between the predominantly Serbian northern regions of the region and the central part of Serbia."

The Russian Foreign Ministry stressed that the concentration of police forces, the pulling together of special forces, armored vehicles and heavy weapons, continues in the area.

“Civilians are subjected to violence, some of whom are victims.

Several people have been hospitalized, ”added Zakharova.

According to her, it becomes obvious that events are developing according to the scenario "from bad to worse."

Earlier, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said that Serbian forces did not enter the territory of Kosovo, in compliance with international agreements.

According to him, Belgrade stands for peace.

On September 24, NATO called on Belgrade and Pristina to begin an immediate de-escalation and dialogue on North Kosovo.

The Russian ambassador to Belgrade, Alexander Botan-Kharchenko, following a trip to the contact line, noted that the Serbian side on the administrative line with Kosovo and Metohija is behaving responsibly and restrainedly.
