Russia called on NATO and the EU to force Pristina to recall the security forces from the north of Kosovo

Zakharova noted that NATO's Force for Kosovo and the EU's Rule of Law Mission have the necessary mandates to counter the rule of law.

The report notes that these structures are responsible for protecting civilians, ensuring peace and security.

“It's time to put vigorous pressure on the administration in Pristina to force it to withdraw the security forces from the north of Kosovo and prevent the situation from diving into open conflict,” a ministry spokeswoman said.

The Russian Foreign Ministry said that they had recorded the increase in tension in Kosovo, provoked by the irresponsible actions of the Kosovo Albanian authorities.

According to the ministry, since September 20, Pristina "has effectively impeded the movement of transport between the predominantly Serbian northern regions of the province and the central part of Serbia."

Civilians are subjected to violence, some of whom are victims.
