China News Service, Zhuhai, September 27 (Reporter Guo Chaokai) The 13th China International Aerospace Expo (Zhuhai Air Show) is about to open.

The reporter discovered during the exhibition on the 27th that the Eighth Institute of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation had exhibited the relevant contents of the solar dual super satellite developed by the institute.

As China's first solar exploration science and technology test satellite, the Sun Dual Super Satellite is expected to be launched this year, marking that China will officially enter the "Era of Solar Exploration."

Since the 1970s, the United States, Japan, and Europe have launched dozens of dedicated solar exploration satellites.

At present, space solar exploration is developing in the direction of multiple bands, multiple viewing angles, close distances, and high temporal and spatial resolution. Space solar exploration has become the main driving force for the development of solar physics.

Wang Wei, deputy director of the 509th Institute of the Eighth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, said that the main scientific payload of China's upcoming solar dual-super satellite is the solar Hα imaging spectrometer, which will realize the first international space solar Hα spectral imaging detection.

Through the data analysis of this spectral line, the changes in physical quantities such as atmospheric temperature and speed during the solar eruption can be obtained, the dynamic process and physical mechanism of the solar eruption can be studied, and China's international influence in the field of solar physics can be significantly improved.

At the same time, the satellite is designed with an ultra-high pointing accuracy and ultra-high stability platform (referred to as a "dual super" satellite platform).

By adopting the detachable design concept of the platform cabin and the load cabin, the ultra-high precision pointing and stable control of the load cabin will be realized, which is 1-2 orders of magnitude higher than the existing level.
