Two people lost their lives in a traffic accident this Sunday evening in Bréauté (Seine-Maritime).

Two vehicles collided from the front shortly before 10 p.m. on the D910, reports 76actu.

A 20-year-old woman died in one of the cars.

In the second, it is a 23-year-old passenger who did not survive.

The driver, also 23, was evacuated by helicopter to Monod hospital in Le Havre in serious condition.

His vital prognosis was engaged.

Ten-year-old in shock

In total, 25 firefighters intervened on site, supported by the mobile emergency and resuscitation service and the gendarmerie.

When help arrived, the victims were imprisoned in the damaged vehicles.

A ten-year-old child was also taken into care in shock.

“Three young people who lived in the area, it's a tragedy and it's obviously a shock for all of us.

We think a lot about families ”, reacted the mayor of Bréauté, Jean-Claude Malo, after the accident.

An investigation has been opened to determine the exact circumstances of this face-to-face meeting.
