This came during his visit to "Dubai Schools - Al Barsha", accompanied by His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, and Secretary General of the Executive Council and Chairman of the Steering Committee for Dubai Schools, Abdullah Mohammed Al Basti, to review the progress of The educational process of the "Dubai Schools" project, which was announced by His Highness in March 2021, which aims to provide a unique and innovative school model that provides education of world-class standards, while consolidating the values of belonging to the homeland, adhering to the established Emirati and Arab values, and building generations capable of advancing the requirements of the future.
His Highness said: "Proper education is the basis for shaping the personality of a person capable of creativity and innovation, and building the necessary bridges to cross into the future... We are preparing for an exceptional Emirati model to achieve our unlimited future ambitions... Education was and will remain one of the most important priorities... Today, Dubai is entering a new phase." Through it, it continues to advance the education sector, according to global foundations that keep pace with global development, and consolidate the preservation of identity and belonging, and the preservation of authentic Emirati values in the hearts of young people and youth.”
During the visit, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum was briefed on the developments of the project by the General Secretariat of the Executive Council and Taaleem Company. His Highness also inspected a number of classrooms and school facilities that were designed in a way that enhances the attractive educational environment for students, which contributes to enriching their personalities. Providing them with life skills that enable them to prepare for the future, and creating an incubating, safe and stimulating school environment for the values of trust, cooperation and academic excellence.
His Highness directed the development of an ambitious expansion plan for the Dubai Schools project, with the aim of attracting larger numbers of students to benefit from the advanced educational system provided through it, by establishing more partnerships with the private educational sector and educational service providers that are compatible with the project's future goals and needs.
The Dubai Schools project aims to achieve the full potential of students by providing high-quality educational services, by providing a supportive environment that embraces their innovations and provides them with both life and academic skills. The schools in its two branches in Mirdif and Al Barsha witnessed a great turnout during the registration period, through which 1,200 students joined the schools , an increase of 50% over the expected number for the first year of operation.

The opening of “Dubai Schools” in the Mirdif and Al Barsha regions, in partnership with Taaleem, is the first phase of the Dubai Schools project, which aims to establish and operate schools owned by the government, and managed effectively and efficiently by the private sector, to establish a new method that enriches the educational system in the Emirate of Dubai, and provides quality education.
