298 new cases of “Corona” virus .. and 360 cases of recovery

The Ministry of Health and Community Protection announced that 338,923 new examinations were conducted, during the past hours, on different groups in society, using the best and latest medical examination techniques, with the aim of early detection, inventory of cases infected with the emerging coronavirus (Covid-19) and those who are in contact with it and isolate them.

The intensification of investigation and examination procedures in the country and the expansion of examinations at the state level contributed to the detection of 298 new cases of HIV infection of different nationalities, all of which are stable cases and subject to the necessary health care, bringing the total registered cases to 734,894 cases.

The ministry also announced the death of an infected case as a result of the repercussions of infection with the “Corona” virus, bringing the number of deaths in the country to 2090 cases.

The Ministry of Health and Community Protection expressed its regret and sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the deceased, and its wishes for a speedy recovery for all the injured, calling on community members to cooperate with health authorities, adhere to instructions, and adhere to social distancing, in order to ensure the health and safety of all.

The Ministry also announced the recovery of 360 new cases of people infected with the virus, and their full recovery from symptoms of the disease after receiving the necessary health care since entering the hospital, bringing the total number of recovery cases to 727,166 cases.

The Ministry announced that 8,929 doses of the “Covid-19” vaccine were provided during the past hours, bringing the total doses that were provided until yesterday, 19 million and 856 thousand and 161 doses, and the rate of vaccine distribution is 200.76 doses per 100 people.

This comes in line with the Ministry's plan to provide a "Covid-19" vaccine, and in an effort to reach the acquired immunity resulting from vaccination, which will help reduce the number of cases and control the virus.
