RBU Halland, which has taken the initiative for the lab, is pleased that the e-sports lab was finally inaugurated on Saturday.

The project has largely been financed by grants from regional insurance and the premises have been contributed by Halmstad University, which will also use the lab for research on e-gambling and health.

- It feels great that we have finally been able to open, says Maria Norrman, chairman of RBU Halland.

E-gaming is often associated with sitting still for several hours, a statement which according to Maria Norrman is a myth.

- In the e-sports lab, we have, among other things, a VR game that is often very active and there are several training games, she says.

In the clip, you get to see the new e-sports lab at the university and hear what the inauguration visitors had to say about it.
