Peskov spoke about the "stumbling block" in the discussion of the meeting between Putin and Zelensky

We are in a situation where the work on the implementation of the Minsk package of measures has reached an impasse, "TASS quoted Peskov as saying.

He stressed that Ukraine "does not want to fulfill the Minsk agreements" and wants to "replace them with something else, without calling it in its own words."

Peskov recalled that the Minsk agreements are a written document in which "there is nothing vague, everything is extremely concrete."

“After all, this is an internal Ukrainian conflict.

And, of course, it can be resolved only if Ukrainians here and there start talking to each other, ”added the presidential press secretary.

As previously noted in the Kremlin, the meeting of the presidents of Russia and Ukraine, Vladimir Putin and Vladimir Zelensky, may take place "when there is some kind of agenda for their communication" and when they understand "what to talk about."

The Russian Foreign Ministry recalled that Russia is not a party to the Minsk agreements.
