But not so long ago, specifically in (May) 2018, the TEDx Würzburg platform in Germany hosted a medical student, Myriam Heine, to give a speech entitled: “Pedophilia is a natural sexual orientation,” which sparked a huge wave of anger on social media. . After the acceptance of the homosexual in Western societies, then the transgender, then the issue of gender and the presence of more than 50 types other than male and female, does it seem now that the turn has come to accept the pedophiles?!
This issue, and the accompanying transformations in society, raise several questions: How did the snowball called sexual liberation and acceptance of the other reach this juncture?!
And what made the case of pedophilia reach the TEDx platform?
Was this presentation the first of its kind to openly discuss the issue of pedophilia?
Or is it just a link in a long series of activities held by people and organizations that defend pedophilia and seek to establish its presence in the world?
And the most important question: What are the stages in which the talk about pedophilia may develop to eventually become a normal and acceptable matter?!
What are the similarities between the arguments and logic of the homosexual movement and its counterparts in the Pedophilia movement?!
In the beginning it was breaking the taboo

Until now, opening the subject of pedophilia to public discussion is still taboo in Western societies. It makes people prefer to avoid touching it.
Because of this, the pedophilia and the movements defending them are well aware that the legalization of pedophilia will not happen overnight, but rather a race that takes a long breath.
Accordingly, the American politician Alan West believes that the pedophilia movement will take the homosexual movement “as a model that will follow its approach to obtain equality between the pedophiles and the rest of society, just as the homosexuals obtained the right to equality” [3].
This race can be presented in four steps that the pedophiles will follow in order to normalize the issue of pedophilia.

The first steps begin with breaking the social taboo by talking about pedophilia - negatively or positively - openly and openly to the masses and in the media, then it is followed by the step of removing the negative characteristics of the pedophilia and exonerating the pedophilia from any appeal or defect directed at it in order to remove any moral accusation against the pedophilia and convert them From criminals to victims, to attract sympathy towards them.
After that, comes the step of proving that the pedophiles are human beings like the rest, who deserve the same rights, dignity and equality. Finally, the process ends with the legalization of the constitutional and legal status of pedophilia, so that the obstruction of the pedophiles becomes a form of reaction, muzzling and obstructing the march of progress and freedom.
The expected clash with the first stage
With the launch of the first steps of this strategy since the beginning of the 2000s, i.e. the stage of public discussion of the issue, many platforms rushed to condemn pedophilia without thinking and consider it a matter of disease and mental disorder and nothing more. In the same context, the "CBN" news network made many comments that completely deny that pedophilia is normal and stresses that it is a deviation and anomaly from human nature, as the network quoted psychiatrist Linda Mintel that pedophilia is a "mental disorder classified as a sexual disorder." [6]. Rather, the network went even wider than that, as it saw that the children were not like the rest of the human beings, even in their physiological structure. It cited a statement by the famous psychiatrist, Daniel Amen, in which he says that “the boys have brains that are not like the rest of the brains of humans, if we conducted a survey on their brains, we would find that their brains It resembles the brain of a person suffering from obsessive-compulsive disorder, and it has a smaller frontal cortex” [7].
This sharp stance towards pedophilia represents the expected reaction to opening a public debate on this issue, but the efforts of the child soldiers to promote their cause managed to overcome this position.
From breaking the taboo to normalizing the relationship

Pedophilia support organizations

We can note the success of the pedophilia movement when we compare its situation in the eighties with its current situation. The Paradox: Similarities Between Pedophilia and Homosexual Arguments
Homosexuals rely on a set of arguments to promote that homosexuality is natural and innate in humans, so what about the pedophilia movement?!
Just as homosexuals claim that homosexuality is a behavior that existed in previous civilizations, so the boyhood claims that pedophilia is a behavior that occurred in many cultures.
Pedophilia has been found in the culture of the Hawaiian Islands, in North Africa, and in New Guinea and northern Australia, where men have common practice with young boys[20].
Paradoxically, one of the well-known gay community arguments is that homosexual practices occur among some animals, and it is surprising that the pedophiles used the same argument to their advantage.
Some research has shown that pedophile behavior occurs among baboons[21], which are the animals closest to humans at the genetic level according to the theory of evolution.
The demands of the pedophilia movement
The pedophilia movement pursues three main goals: the first is to reduce or eliminate the age of consent, which is the legal minimum age for sexual intercourse with another person, and the second goal is to remove pedophilia as a disease from health organization guidelines. To this end, pedophilia organizations argue that 10-year-olds have the ability and capacity to choose their own behavior and sexual orientation, and their statements are supported by a number of scientific studies.
One of these studies, which was carried out by child psychologist Loretta Bender on a sample of 16 boys and girls who were all exposed to a sexual experience with an adult man, and the study concluded that these children had sex with men “without remorse, fear or anxiety, but there was a response Positive emotional reaction from these children towards the experience, and some children expressed their desire to continue the relationship already” [24].
