After several years of planning, it is soon time to start the project Parenting in Sweden, where Nora municipality is the project owner and collaborates with several actors around the county.

Ida Eriksson, business developer Bilda, thinks it will be exciting to start the project and hopes that it will help parents feel more secure as a parent in Sweden.

Gathers parent groups

The meetings will take place in parent groups, where topics such as school, health and gender equality will be discussed.

In order to reach as many parents as possible, meetings in other languages ​​must also be arranged, including Arabic and Somali.

- The parents will also be able to discuss their own experiences, support each other and come up with their own questions, says Roaa Johansson, circle leader at the study association Bilda in Hällefors.
