In the clip above, Lars-Åke Löfström tells how his collaboration with local farmers becomes the area's own flour varieties.

What was previously a food market in Mariebergskogen in Karlstad is now a food festival where food-interested Värmlanders are invited to food producers in about 60 places in Värmland.

- Yes, we have the corona to thank for that, says Lars-Åke Löfström and smiles.

He is the area's own miller and says that the change from market to food festival feels positive because many have not had the opportunity to see an old mill like the one in Fagerås.

- Many people see our products a bit everywhere, in schools and restaurants where they are used so people are a little curious.

Homemade a safe card

Emma Nilsson in Glava sells jam, juice and homemade cakes, among other things.

She also notices and understands that customers want to buy locally produced food.

But home baking is, according to her, a safe bet.

- In a way, one understands that, because what is sold in stores today, it is not so good, she says.
