The Karlsson family at Hasslö applied for a preschool place for their son Leoh already in February.

At Hasslö there is only one preschool and the idea was that Leoh would start his schooling in November.

But Hasslö preschool is full and several families who have applied for a start in the next few months have received a negative message.

- Right now it feels hopeless.

We have planned our lives after preschool starts on November 1, says dad Tony Karlsson.

Logistical problems

Both Tony and his wife Zita will start new jobs.

Zita Karlsson will work in Backaryd outside Ronneby from November.

At the same time, Tony Karlsson becomes self-employed in the construction industry.

- We get problems purely logistically.

Should we get a place in central Karlskrona and Zita will leave, it will be 120 km travel in just one day.

It does not work.

But right now we have no plan for B, says Tony Karlsson.
