On September 23, local time, the U.S. House of Representatives passed a bill with 420 votes in favor and 9 votes against it: it will provide 1 billion U.S. dollars to support Israel's Iron Dome missile defense system.
The House of Representatives Majority Leader Steny Hoyer talked with the Israeli Foreign Minister on September 21 and assured him that the United States will resolve the issue of funding for the Iron Dome missile defense system. The funds are intended to help Israel resist the Palestinian Islamic Resistance ( Hamas) waiting for the rocket attack launched in the Gaza Strip.
