The AGM, however, decided to investigate a new resource allocation system for schools.

The focus should be on students' needs, high goals for knowledge acquisition, equivalence and high quality requirements.

The system will be more transparent and predictable for both municipal and independent schools and take into account different conditions, such as the size of the school.

The system must also take into account the municipalities' assignments as responsible for ensuring that all children receive the education they are entitled to.

That was the result after a long debate, where several representatives wanted a sharper proposal.

Another decision was that the Center Party works to ensure that schools that do not meet the set quality requirements and regulations can be closed faster than today.

Results on national tests are required

Another decision was that all schools are required to share relevant information about their activities with the authorities, in order for these to be public and easily accessible to all.

Among other things, the number of students, teacher density, grade distribution, results on national tests and public financial information on turnover and distribution of surpluses should be required.
