The changes will take effect at 16:00 on 25 September.
This was announced by the Norwegian government on Friday.
It is still the case that entry into Norway must take place at one of the 35 approved border crossings, such as Storlien.
Other border crossings that have been closed will open gradually.
Only those who travel from a red-marked area (high infection) will need to be quarantined.
In addition, the advice to keep your distance is taken away and all restrictions on events and restaurants disappear.
