The health ministers of the federal states agreed on Wednesday that unvaccinated people in quarantine should no longer receive compensation for the loss of earnings by November 1 at the latest. it. Citizens for whom no public vaccination recommendation has yet been made should continue to be paid.
Persons who suffer loss of earnings due to an officially ordered quarantine are entitled to compensation under the Infection Protection Act.
However, there is also an exception in the event that a vaccination could have prevented the quarantine.
The federal states have to pay the compensation.
