"On September 24 at 1:40 am, the duty service discovered a fire on the roof of a three-story building located on the territory of the Military University on Komsomolsky Prospekt in Moscow," TASS quoted a statement.
It is clarified that firefighters have started to extinguish the fire.
There are no casualties as a result of the emergency.
Earlier it became known about the evacuation of students and teachers due to smoke in the basement of the Higher School of Economics in the center of Moscow.
