President Moon Jae-in, who took over the remains in Hawaii, held a funeral ceremony shortly after arriving at Seoul Airport.

In particular, the bereaved families of the late Privates Kim Seok-ju and Jeong Hwan-jo, whose identities were confirmed among the dead, burst into tears that they had endured at the too late return.

The remains that returned to Korea last night will be placed in the Seoul National Cemetery.
