Romelu Lukaku believes that the football world must fight racism more "strongly" and doubts the effectiveness of the knee knocked down by the players at the start of Premier League matches.

"We can take more assertive positions," the Chelsea forward told CNN Sport.

"Of course, we put the knee to the ground and everyone applauds but sometimes, after the match, there was another insult," added the Belgium international.

Lukaku would like influential players and social media bosses and other actors to come together to tackle racism on their networks.

"The captain and four or five strong-personality players from each team are expected to meet with Instagram bosses, governments, the English Football Association (FA), the Professional Footballers Association (PFA), to discuss this situation." , said the Belgian.

Romelu Lukaku was speaking on the occasion of the launch by his club of a photography competition called "No to Hate" (No to Hate), which invites supporters from around the world to send their photos to show their diversity.
