The Food and Drug Administration (Fda), the US drug control agency, has authorized the third dose of the Pfizer vaccine for people aged 65 and over and for those who are frail, i.e. at high risk of contracting severe forms of Covid -19 or serious complications. The agency followed the recommendations given in recent days by its committee of independent experts. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the US federal agency for disease prevention, should also speak today.
