  On the morning of September 20, local time, a university student opened fire at the Perm State National Research University, killing 6 people.

Earlier reports said that another 24 people were injured.

The suspect resisted and was wounded when he was arrested, and was then taken to the hospital.

The police have filed a criminal case in accordance with Article 105 of the Russian Criminal Law "Murder".

  An official from the Ministry of Health of the region said at a meeting of the government of the border region: “To date, there are 43 injured people, 12 of whom are in the hospital. Only one of the wounded was seriously injured, the gunman himself.”

  It is reported that part of the gunman's calf was amputated and the condition is very serious.
