A major problem for healthcare is that the blood can only be saved for six weeks.
- It complicates our business and means that we have to be on our toes all the time.

New investment
To get more people to donate blood, the Östergötland region is investing in a new campaign that aims to encourage employers to donate blood during working hours.
- Many blood donors feel that they do not have time in everyday life to come and donate blood.
That is why we have started a collaboration with companies and organizations and hope that even more companies will join, says Ida Norrström.
