It is noted that the average size of consumer loans increased by 23.7% compared to the same period last year.

So, in August 2020, it amounted to 217 thousand rubles.

At the same time, as explained by the NBKI Marketing Director Alexei Volkov, in comparison with July this year, the average size of the consumer credit has decreased by 1.1%.

“In July 2021, it amounted to 271.6 thousand rubles,” Volkov said.

In addition, as the expert added, the determining criterion when banks make a decision to issue a loan and its parameters is the value of the borrower's personal credit rating (PCR), which is especially noticeable for large loans with an amount of more than 300 thousand rubles. 

The specialist explained that such consumer loans are issued only to those citizens whose RCC value is at a high level - 650 points or more.

Also, according to him, the average personal credit rating of a borrower for consumer loans in August 2021 was 628 points, having decreased by six points over the year.

"At the same time, for consumer loans in excess of 300 thousand rubles, the value of the RCC increased: in the range of 300-500 thousand rubles - by two points, in the range of more than 500 thousand rubles - by four points," the interlocutor of RT concluded.
