The alleged slander is said to have taken place during the summer of 2020 when the woman published a longer post on social media.

In the post, she describes her experience of the time with the game developer when she came there as an intern in 2014. In the long post, she accuses her then closest boss and supervisor of having controlled her and taken the initiative for a sexual relationship that was unwanted on her part.

The relationship lasted for a long time and she writes that she could not say anything as the man had influence over her future in the industry.

He also supervised a school project that was associated with the game developer's practice.

The accused man was never named in the post, but according to the indictment in Lund District Court, the man could be identified and the information was such that they could be expected to expose him to the disregard of others.

The post was widely circulated

The woman's post was widely circulated on social media, where it was shared hundreds of times and commented on by many in the industry in which she worked.

- In today's society where posts on social media can be widely spread, the consequences for the accused can in many cases be very serious, which makes the current act extra serious, says Emily Petersen, plaintiff's counsel.

The woman herself admits that she wrote the post but denies the crime.
